What exactly is Kirky?
An AI assistant that lives inside your web app. It answers from your documents with the source attached, queries your data with each user’s permissions, can create or update records after a confirmation, and gives a heads-up before an unusual value is saved.
What are the five layers?
Help (step-by-step guidance on the screen the user is on), Knowledge (answers from your documents, always cited), Queries (answers from your live data), Actions (create or update records after a preview and confirmation) and Centinela (a heads-up before an atypical value is saved). You turn each one on separately.
What happens when Kirky doesn’t know the answer?
It says so. If your documents don’t say it and your data doesn’t show it, Kirky answers “I don’t know” instead of guessing.
Which languages does it speak?
Spanish and English from day one. Each user gets answers in their own language.
Can I try it before talking to anyone?
Yes. The public demo is a sample app with Kirky installed and sample data. Request access with your work email and you get a link that lasts 7 days.
Security and data
Do you need access to our code or database?
No. Data questions run in your user’s browser against your own read endpoints, with that user’s session. Direct database access is optional, on Scale, through a connector you host that only runs read-only queries.
Does our data train models?
No. Your documents, questions and answers are used to serve your workspace and nothing else, and it’s written into the DPA you sign.
Where is our data processed?
Data and processing are in the United States. The trust page lists every subprocessor.
How does Kirky respect each user’s permissions?
Your backend signs a short-lived token that says who the user is and which roles they have. Kirky only reads what those roles allow, and a new role starts with no permissions until you grant them.
Can Kirky delete records?
No. It can create or update records through the write endpoints you register, and only after it shows a preview and the user confirms. Delete isn’t an operation it has.
Install
How long does it take to install?
Most teams are live in an afternoon: add one script, have your backend sign who the user is, and decide what each role can see.
Which frameworks does it work with?
React, Vue, Angular and server-rendered apps. The widget mounts in a Shadow DOM, so your styles stay untouched.
Which backend languages have signing samples?
Node, Python, PHP, .NET and Java. The token is ES256 and lives five minutes at most; your private key never leaves your server.
Can we test without affecting our users?
Yes. Every organization has a free Test environment, separate from Live, with its own query limit.
Billing
What counts as a query?
An answered question or an executed action. Direct-database answers count double. ‘I don’t know’ answers and refusals are free up to 10% of your plan’s queries; beyond that each counts 0.25. A cached answer also counts.
What happens at 110% of my plan?
We let you know at 80% and at 100%. At 110% the assistant pauses, unless you turn on automatic top-up with a spend cap.
Is there a free plan?
No. The public demo and your Test environment are free; paid plans start at USD 299 a month.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual plans cost ten months, so two months are free.
Can we pay in Mexican pesos?
Yes. If you invoice in Mexico, we bill in MXN with a CFDI and IVA added on the invoice. Everywhere else we bill in USD.
Centinela
Does Centinela block users from saving?
Never. It gives a heads-up with what looks unusual and why; the user can review, continue, or mark it as not applicable.
How does it know what’s unusual?
It learns each customer’s usual patterns from your history (typical quantities, the domains they write to, duplicates) and proposes rules. Your admin approves every rule before it runs.
What personal data does Centinela see?
Personal data used for Centinela is pseudonymized, and a warning never reveals values the user isn’t allowed to see.
Which plans include Centinela?
Business includes a nightly review of what was saved. Scale adds live checks before saving, with 100,000 validations a month.
